Below is link to a clarifier sizing spreadsheet developed by Hydro-Flo Technologies.

By inputting the major design criteria, you can solve for the clarifier projected surface area and overall clarifier volume.

The spreadsheet operates on Microsoft Excel 2003 or later.

What is the Desired Hydralic Loading Ratio 0.39   NOTE:  The hydralic loading ratio is typically set from .25 to .5  The lower the settling rate or specific gravity (of the settleable material) the lower the hydralic loading ratio. 

Hydralic loading ratios can be determined by field tests or calcualated based on the specific gravity of the chemically treated solids.
