If you
Controls Engineer with PLC
experience.
Job
Description: You will work closely with
the customer, engineering and manufacturing to design and
fabricate system control panels (both relay
logic and PLC based) for our packaged treatment systems as well as
custom panels for specific customer applications. 4+ years of
experience designing panels and working with PLC software is
required. Experience with pumping (both chemical metering and
process flow) systems and automated mechanical systems a plus.
NOTE: Project
management skills will be an important aspect of the job.
Project budgeting, meeting customer and in house production
schedules, purchasing equipment, and customer communication.
You should have excellent written and oral communication skills
to interact with many levels of clients and partners.
Skills: The minimum skillset must include programming Allen Bradley PLCs and
ControlLogix. Experience with other PLC platforms (GE Versa ax,
Modicon, Siemens), HMIs, SCADA, data logging and wireless technology
a plus. Familiarity with AutoCadd and Microsoft Office is a
must.
Other Valued Abilities: Design and develop data systems that integrate with and pull data
from PLC systems. Develop specifications for PLC controls and data management
strategy. Work in plant manufacturing systems, with plant operators,
maintenance, quality, and engineering. Read and modify electrical drawings. Have a strong background in PID process control utilizing
instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature, level, and
measurement. Demonstrate technical leadership, adaptability, analytical and
problem solving skills, decision making, and trouble-shooting
abilities. Clear standards of personal integrity, business ethics, and values.

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a major in
math/physics with very strong computer experience.
Functional Requirements: You should be prepared to travel up to 30% of
the time, although travel is erratic. Typically, a project spans
several weeks of development at our office followed by deployment
and commissioning at the client’s site.

Job
Description: This is an entry level
engineering position. You will work closely with
engineering creating drawings and solving basic design issues.
Skills: Familiarity with
AutoCadd and Microsoft Office is a must. Experience with
Inventor is a plus.
